Terms of service.
These terms apply to this site and to the recorded courses sold on it. They are written to be read: if something is not clear, write to hello@arielcubas.com before buying.

Who these terms are with
Ariel Cubas, based in Miami, Florida, teaches recorded hairdressing courses through this site. The courses are aimed at professional stylists and at anyone who wants to learn the technique.
Your account
You need an account to buy and to watch a course. You must be 18 or older and use an email address you actually read: that is where the access and the receipts arrive.
Everything done from your account is considered done by you, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us at hello@arielcubas.com if you think someone else is using it.
- One account per person.
- Do not share, lend or resell access to your account.
Buying a course
The price of each course is the one shown on its page, in US dollars. Payment is processed by an outside payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
When the payment is confirmed, the course appears in your client area. If a payment is reversed or reported as fraudulent, the access is suspended.
What you are buying
You buy personal and non-transferable access to the videos, notes and material of that course, for as long as the course stays published on the site.
Access is online. Unless a lesson says otherwise, the material is not for download.
If a course changes or is retired
Courses get updated, re-recorded and, some day, retired. If a course you bought is retired, we tell you by email and keep it available for at least 12 months from that notice.
The material is ours
The videos, texts, photographs and teaching material belong to Ariel Cubas or to the people who licensed them to us. Buying a course gives you a licence to learn from it, not ownership of it.
- Do not record, download, re-upload or redistribute the classes.
- Do not use the material to teach your own paid classes.
- Do not share your access or publish it.
Service availability
We do our best to keep the site and the videos working, but we cannot promise no interruptions: there are updates, maintenance and problems outside our control, such as your connection, the video provider or the hosting.
Limits of our responsibility
The courses teach technique. What you achieve with it depends on your own practice and on your clients, so we cannot promise a commercial result.
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for a course is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms when the service changes. We change the date at the top, and if the change is important we tell you by email before it applies to you.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and any dispute is brought before the courts of that state.
